About the Free Text Sorter Tool
Long lists are hard to read when they are in no order at all. This free text sorter lines them up for you: names, keywords, email addresses, to-do items or any list you paste in. Sorting A to Z puts everything in order so you can find entries and spot repeats quickly, and sorting Z to A flips it the other way. The reverse and shuffle options are handy for lists you want to randomise, and sorting by length groups short entries first.
Everything runs in your browser, so your text is never uploaded or stored. Sorting ignores capitals by default, so “apple” and “Banana” sit in the right place, and blank lines can be dropped with one tick. The tool keeps each line exactly as you typed it — only the order changes.
